Jessica & Neil Texas Summer Wedding

I recently had the chance to second shoot with Juliane Masciana, an amazing photographer in Austin who actually just moved with her husband to Guatemala!!! I’m super envious of her for her upcoming adventure, but so glad I was able to shoot alongside her for this beautiful wedding. Juliane has a natural talent for what she does, and her enthusiasm for the art of photography reminded me of why I started my photography journey in the first place. It was an absolute joy to work with her- come back from Guatemala, k Juliane? OR let me visit :)

The sweet couple, Jessica and Neil, tied the knot at such a picturesque spot in Lampasas, TX. As I arrived at Hidden River Ranch, Jessica and her girl crew were enjoying the getting-ready process in the bridal suite that happened to have AWESOME window light and views of the property. The vibe was relaxed, and there were lots of laughs as Jessica’s mom and sister worked diligently to button up the back of her gorgeous lace dress. Before the ceremony, Jessica had the sweetest first look with her dad, which set the heartfelt mood of the entire rest of the day.

Jessica and Neil rocked it for sunset photos after their ceremony, and we had so much fun roaming the land documenting the newlyweds’ obvious love for one another and catching that perfect evening golden light.

Hanna & Heidi McKinney Falls Engagement Session

These two are soulmates and this was obvious from the minute I met them. Hanna and Heidi visited Austin from their home country of Germany for about a month. Hanna recently quit her job, and Heidi is finishing at University. The ultimate couple goal- quitting jobs and traveling the world. Hanna is talkative and excitable and Heidi is cool and collected. Together, they make the best pair, and their love really shows.

On a gorgeous breezy day, we ran around McKinney Falls and captured this amazing couple’s love. They had me laughing the entire time with their silly, easy-going personalities. I also shared some sweet quiet, peaceful moments with them and enjoyed the beautiful scenery that McKinney Falls has to offer. Congratulations on your engagement, Hanna and Heidi!

Divina & Zack Stonehouse Villa Wedding

What a rad couple. Divina and Zack are so madly in love.. It radiates off of them. I mean seriously, I had to hold my tears back multiple times throughout their wedding day. The weather was threatening us in the beginning of their day with a downpour, but just LOOK how the rain held out and was replaced with this awesome fog. It felt like we were in a cozy blanket in our own little world.

I second shot for Donny Tidmore (who is a straight up ROCKSTAR human and wedding photographer, by the way). We hung out with the bride and groom and were so grateful to get to know them and hear their love story. After their sweet ceremony and as dusk fell, wedding guests gathered and celebrated the union of Divina and Zack. All in all, this day was a reminder of what true love looks like.

Sekrit Theater

This place is AMAZING. A true little gem that is full of wonders. I felt like a little kid running around and exploring wonderland. This place has an enchanted aura, and it felt as if I had almost melted into a different time period the minute I stepped onto the grounds. The Sekrit Theater is pretty famous in the Austin area, and it is easy to see why.

In addition to the fact that I was in a full on grown-up playground, I also had the chance to work with some beautiful women (Denali, Gabby and Jenee) and was able to shoot next to my talented friend, Tammy.

This was an exciting whirlwind of an evening, as we took advantage of that perfect dusk light and squeezed in every ounce of magic before the sun set. Enjoy! 

Peach Electric Spring 2018 Line

On a lazy Saturday afternoon, one of my best friends Chelsey and I hopped in the car for a mini road trip to find some open air and nature. Chelsey is the owner of an awesome vintage shop, called Peach Electric, which is based out of Austin, TX (my new home, by the way!!!). Her style is so unique and her natural eye for rad vintage clothing always has me in awe. I was excited to have the chance to see some of the new pieces that will be included in the shop’s spring 2018 line.
